Two Quick Tension Frames: Our ground tents use just two pop-out tension frames. The frames can be "popped" from either inside or outside, and tent setup is quick and easy. There are no loose parts to slow you down and take-down is even quicker.

Two Door Option: The line includes both one and two-door ground tents. The two-door ground tents are particularly useful for cabinet work, on pole wrap tents or when connecting tents.

Efficient Pole Wrap Design: The Pole Wrap is the only tent designed specifically for that purpose. It provides a complete, weather tight enclosure around the pole and an easy entrance adjacent to the pole. A second door on the back wall can make the tent even more efficient. The pole wrap tent is dual purpose, and can also be used as a general purpose ground tent.

Roll Up Door: Our ground tent options include a roll up door that can be used as a canopy. This gives you added weather protection in many situations. A roll up door also makes it easy to slide the tent over cabinets.

Connecting Tents: The roll up door or the pole wrap door can be used for connecting two tents and forming a larger enclosure. The easiest and quickest connection is the role up door. Just position two tents door to door and wrap the roll up door around the front strut of each tent. With large tents, a special connector is used to provide a water drain-off between the two tents. The tents must have roll up doors. The pole wrap door can have snap hooks to connect two tents. The tents are positioned door to door, and each pole wrap door is extended and hooked to the other tent.

Quick Pak: The Quick Pak is a standard feature on all ground tents. Instead of a separate bag, one ground flap is designed for storage and carrying. Just collapse the tent and roll it into the flap. The flap has fastening snaps and carrying handles.

Combination Canopy Cabinet Tent: The Canopy Tent is designed so that it can be used as just a canopy or as a complete tent. If only sun or rain protection is needed, the walls can be removed. When it is cold and windy, the walls can be attached for complete weather protection. The tent can be purchased without walls.

Easy Cover Replacement: All ground tents have a unified frame. This frame is completely independent of the cover, and can actually "stand on its own". This makes it very simple to replace worn-out ground tent covers. The result is significant savings. The cost of replacing a cover is approximately a 1/3 less than a new tent.

Low Maintenance Features: In addition to the unified frame, our tents have a number of other design features that keep maintenance low and extend tent life:

Safety Vent Tent: The line includes Safety Vent ground tents. The tents are most commonly used over manholes. The large ventilation opening with velcro closures provide plenty of cross ventilation at ground level. These vents effectively exhaust life threatening fumes.

Efficient Aerial Tents: The Aerial Strand and Aerial Bucket Tents both provide exceptionally efficient weather protection. The Strand Tent pops open quickly and there are no loose parts to assemble. It has clamps that fasten to either a strand or a gate guard. The Aerial Bucket Tent was specifically designed for aerial buckets, and provides a completely unobstructed work area. The tent has separate bucket brackets that are first attached to the bucket. The tent can then be quickly attached to these brackets. Both tents are non-conductive.

Exceptional 4' x 4': Even with its small base, the 4' x '4 x 6 1/2' ground tent has exceptional freestanding stability. This stability exists even when the tent has two doors.

Custom Sizes: With ground tents, there are many size and shape possibilities. Seven standard tent sizes range from 4' x 4' to 10' x 12'. The design is adaptable to other sizes, including both square and rectangular. The FX design makes large tents very sturdy and it is possible to build tents much larger than 10' x 12'. We can closely match your needs with a custom size and design.

Minimum Light Distortion: To minimize light distortion, a combination of white and light gray material are used for standard covers. A standard ground tent cover also includes orange safety stripes.

Ped-Pal Ground Tent: The Ped-Pal provides low cost weather protection for pedestals and other small work sites. It has a single pop- out tension frame for quick setup, a 5' height and is very compact and lightweight.
