Grount Tent Options

Frame GS/FX Exclusive Pop'n'Work unified frame. Stands independent of the cover. Two sidewalls pop out for quick setup. Cold rolled steel hinges are unbreakable with all joints and hinges bolted. The frame cannot pull apart unexpectedly. Cover attachments designed for easy cover replacement.
GS The Ground Strut is a steel tube along the bottom of the rear wall. The cover is attached to the strut to give the tent free-standing stability. The strut has a slight bow to let the tent set firmly on uneven terrain.
FS Instead of Ground Struts, the FX Tent has an X-Frame in the rear wall. It telescopes automatically when the side frames are popped out. The X-Frame gives the tent free-standing stability and extra special support important to large tents. The FX Tent also has the flexibility for squeezing into tight spots and adapting to rough terrain. FX Tents are 6' x 6' and larger.
Cover GS/FX Urethane coated polyester fabric. Flame retardant to meet CPAI-84. Standard color white with lower side walls grey. Orange safety stripe on each side. Other colors are available.
Doors GS A Ground Strut Tent can have one or two doors.

FX A Flex Tent can have only one door unless it is 10' x 8' or larger.

Windows GS/FX Netted window in rear wall (9" x 36"). Additional windows and vinyl windows are optional.
Vent Port GS/FX A 10" diameter Vent Port with draw cord closure is standard on all tents. It is located in the rear wall and is compatible with standard blower and heater hose.
Floors GS/FX Fiber Optic Splicing Tents have a polyester floor with velcro along all four edges. The tent also has velcro along the bottom edge on all four sides. Floors with corner ties are available for all tents.

Ground Tent Options & Standard Size Specifications

Windlines GS/FX For windy conditions, tents that are 6' x 6' and smaller have 1/4" ropes attached to the center of two sidewalls. Larger tents also have 1/4" ropes attached to each corner of the tent at the roof.
Carry & Store GS/FX All tents have a large ground flap along the rear wall that is used to carry and store the tent. It has snap hooks and handles. Just roll the tent into the flap and snap the hooks. This wrap is called Quick Pack.
Van Tent GS The Van Tent is designed to be set on the van bumper and attached to the van. It has roll-up doors both front and rear with zipper closures. Standard sizes are 6' x 6' and 8' x 8'. The Van Tent can be used as a ground tent.
Safety Vent Tent GS/FX The SVT Tent has two 18" x 24" openings at ground level. The openings have flaps with velcro closures. The standard netted window and a top opening door zipper provide additional cross ventilation. The tent is designed for manhole work.
Connecting Tents GS/FX 8' x 8' and smaller tents with roll-up doors can be connected by rolling the doors around the front roof struts. Large tents require a special connecting flap.
Pedestal Tents This tent has a single pop-out tension frame and has a 5' height.
Wall Tents GS Designed with a one direction roof pitch to provide complete weather protection on work sites adjacent to walls.
